Visioneering : God\'s Blueprint for Developing and Maintaining Personal Vision

God’s Blueprint for Developing and Maintaining Vision. Months ago, a friend suggested to me that I read this book. At the time, I was in the midst of trying to read the Bible in 90 days and was about to start Crown Financial with my small group at church. Time would not allow it, but I made a mental note. Soon after, I found myself at Borders trying to devise a plan to get the most for my two gift certificates that were burning in my pocket.

Luckily, I recalled that mental note and purchased Visioneering: God’s Blueprint for Developing and Maintaining Vision. Today, I have already blown my attempt to read the Bible in 90 days (though I am still reading a little each day - but it may take me 120 days). We are on a week break from Crown and I am recovering from a period of my life that had me on the verge of a total meltdown due to having so many demands - although they were self-created demands - for my time and energy. In short, I was out of balance (that is to blame for my lack of posting lately).

Today, I decided I needed to reset my brain, so to speak. I stopped doing everything. I picked up Visioneering adn started reading it. I am only about 50 pages into it, but it has already had solid impact. I realized what my problem was - I lacked clear vision. I had foggy vision for 30 things, rather than clear vision for 1 or 2.

What’s more, my heart has been on one thing, while I tried to rid myself of all the others. As a result, I never focused on that one thing. So, after reading this short segment of the book, I jotted down a rough plan of that one thing. I am organized and confident in what that vision is. While it is not crystal clear at this point, I can at least recognize the picture again.

I can’t wait to finish reading this book. I highly suggest you pick up a copy.
