Note: This is part of an ongoing gripe about TED. Read it all here.
So, as I have been typing all this, it is clear that I am unhappy with TED. Life does happen and people are unsympathetic on most occasions. As I have thought about it, I know that TED doesn’t give a damn that I cannot see my family tonight. TED doesn’t care that my 2-year-old daughter asked me to come home on the phone the night before. TED doesn’t give a damn about anything but TED.
Many airlines – TED may or may not be one of them, I don’t know – have been threatening that they will have to declare bankruptcy for reasons ranging from the price of fuel, to rising operating costs, to labor agreements, to decreased usage and - of course - terrorism (or the threat thereof).
Maybe if you didn’t suck, you’d be making a lot more money.
That’s putting it pretty bluntly, but it’s true. TED had an opportunity to have me typing a totally different blog right now. This could have been TED Rules. But instead, it is TED Sucks!
What if, when I got off the plane, TED directed those who were suppose to be on my flight to a predetermined area and explained why the Las Vegas flight was delayed, offered the available options and then helped us get set up with the options we chose?
What if, TED telephoned the hotel across the street and helped get the check in process started?

What if TED had coordinated a package of necessities; like deodorant, toothpaste, a toothbrush etc. to be waiting for me in my room? What if there were a note attached to it that read; “TED cares about you and is sorry that we have caused you and your family any inconvenience.”?
If TED had done that, I would be typing something totally different. If TED had done that (or even just part of that), I would fly TED EVERY TIME. Instead, I will NEVER fly TED again.
TED Sucks!
