Today, I am unveiling a cool contest that is sure to get your design skills flowing. It’s simple: design a logo . . . for me.

That’s right! I want you to design a logo for the Chad Gramling brand. How cool is that!?!?!?!?

How to Enter:

• Design a logo that effectively brands Chad Gramling. If you need ideas, review these blogs: WordUp, CGBB, NoOtherRock, Baseball In Fort Wayne.
• E-mail your design in jpg format (size 500 x 500) to logocontest@chadgramling.com.
• Be capable of providing me with a high resolution version if selected as the winner.

What You Will Win:
The winning entrant will receive at least 3 great prizes!

• The joy and satisfaction of knowing your work will appear on my letterhead, business cards, social media sites, blogs and more.
• A copy of “Baseball in Fort Wayne” - signed by the author (that’s me).
• You, your work, your portfolio, blog, website, etc. will be crafted into a profile that will appear on WordUp for my readers to view.
• BONUS: If you are BlogExplosion member, I’ll even through in 500 BE credits.

Other Information of Note:

• Copyright: I hate to even bring up “legal stuff” but basically, you will maintain the copyright – but you agree to allow me to use the design in any medium and manner in which I want. I do not need to credit you in any manner whatsoever as I use it, but certainly would do so (at my discretion) when given the opportunity.
• Judging: I will select the finalists from all entries I receive by August 17, 2007. On August 18, all finalist designs will be posted on WordUp. Visitors will be able to vote for their favorite design from that time until August 31, 2007.
• Winner: The winner will be announced first in the September issue of “Pinstripes and Ponders” – my newsletter (signup here). I’ll announce it on WordUp a few days later (hey, I gotta give some perks to my loyal readers).
• Criteria: Everything is explained above – but I reserve the right to disqualify any design for whatever reason I deem necessary. I also reserve the right to not use the winning logo if I so decide (but given that I pick the finalists, that should not be the case ?).

Regardless of whether you enter a design or not, if you post a blog entry about this contest on your blog I’ll send you 10 BE credits (must be a BlogExplosion user to qualify). Simply do your post and leave a comment on this post with the link and I’ll get you’re your credits ASAP!
