I’ve been blogging for several years. Been seriously doing it for just a couple.
I’ve used mostly WordPress and plan to keep it that way. But along the way, I’ve had great fun and frustration while tinkering with templates/themes and getting the look and function to be just how I want it. I’ve screw things up and had to fix them more times than I wish to consider. There have been a couple times where I quite literally obliterated my blog.
But at the same time, I’ve learned to fix all those mishaps. With this most recent design, I’ve managed to move my search box to a new place on the header, implement a post ratings system and place it where I wanted in the context of the posts, and just a few moments ago, I figured out how to make my blogroll place the images/links in random order.
Now this may not seem all that big a deal to many of you, and it isn’t. But it’s strange how a blogger can sometimes be his own worst critic and be completely knit picky about his blog.
