First, my apologies to Cedric Hunter in my attempt to translate his likeness to art. While he may be a try artist in the field, I am humbly trying to be an artist on canvass.
When I was researching Baseball in Fort Wayne, one of the early names that came up was Bob Parker. He was a terrific commercial artist who immortalized players through his art and even produced his own sets of baseball cards using his art. What appears here, is a terrible attempt to paint a portrait of Cedric Hunter, who appeared with the Fort Wayne Wizards during the 2007 campaign.
While I am not all that proud of this outcome - and, as you can see, I gave up long before I finished - I will continue to practice and maybe one day I will produce something I am proud with. As I do so, I’ll post. Please feel free to comment on what I present.
