As you probably know, I don’t get offended very easily. In fact, I openly claim that nothing offends me. However, there is one thing that comes frighteningly close: When people try thinking for me. I guess some people don’t have anything better to do than but into people’s lives and tell them how they should live, think, act, feel or work. That just ain’t civil in my book.
Throwing that out there for reactions, thoughts or comments.

I used to live in a neighborhood that did that. They were very interested — almost unhealthily so — in what I did and didn’t do to my house. You give people a little power, and it goes to their head.
I also used to go to a church where the people on the board took it upon themselves to question whether someone drank, were in church every time the doors were open, etc.
Needless to say, I don’t live in that neighborhood or go to that church anymore.
